It's the question we're asked most often across Garden City, Levittown, and East Meadow: do I need a deep clean, or will a regular clean do? The honest answer comes down to one thing — how long it's been since the details were last handled.
A regular clean maintains a home that's already in reasonable shape. We work through the kitchen and bathrooms, dust the surfaces, vacuum and mop the floors, and tidy the living areas. It's the visible, everyday clean, and on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule it keeps a home consistently comfortable.
A deep clean goes after everything a regular visit doesn't have time for. Baseboards and door frames. Inside the oven, the fridge, and the microwave. Grout and hard water build-up. Ceiling fans, vents, and light fixtures. Cabinet fronts and interior windows. It takes considerably longer, which is why it costs more — there's simply more work in it.
Here's the rule we use: if it's been more than six months since anyone cleaned inside the appliances or wiped the baseboards, start with a deep clean. After that, a regular schedule will hold the line, and you won't need another deep clean for a long time.
That's also why most of our new customers begin with one deep clean and then move onto bi-weekly service. The first visit resets the house; every visit after that keeps it there.
